Where have all the cowboys gone?

Right off the bat here I will let everyone know that the site, Where's Parker, is dedicated to the education leading to changing the laws in this country in regards to dog fighting, puppy mills, and all other forms of animal abuse which also includes the rounding up and genocide of feral cats and the blind eye toward education about the importance of spaying and neutering. . . . . Having witnessed court cases, I am sickened, disgusted, and angered at the lack of morality in this inept judicial system, and the apathy of all those associated with it.

In this first entry I will discuss DOG FIGHTING

This is heinous cruelty. Most cases never make it past misdemeanor charges. I know because I am in court for these cases. Then, 99.99% of those who plead guilty simply receive probation.

These dogs are starved, beaten, put back together with staple guns, tortured if they don't perform, and eventually die.

Puppies are born innocent, trusting, playful, and wanting love. The mentally defective and greedy humans who betray this trust need to be locked away from society.

Now, do you want to get into the kittens, puppies and other animals that are stolen or adopted from loving homes and thrown in with the dogs in order to teach the dogs how to tear a living creature apart?

If you don't care about the pain inflicted on the animals, then know that these people who ALSO don't care about the pain of the animals are also
abusers of the women and children in their lives.

The laws MUST change. I have personally witnessed those who kill their animals by starvation and torture be acquitted because the arresting officer decided it wasn't important enough to attend the court date. The judge and Assistant States Attorneys treated it with no more importance than a parking ticket. Justice? What happened to it? Are these the laws we are willing to live with?

THOSE WHO ARE IN POSITIONS TO TAKE STEPS TO MAKE THE NECESSARY CHANGES MUST OPEN THEIR EYES TO SEE THE PAIN, SUFFERING, AND DEATH SURROUNDING US. THEY MUST BE MADE TO HEAR OUR OUTRAGE.

“If [man] is not to stifle his human feelings, he must practice kindness towards animals, for he who is cruel to animals becomes hard also in his dealings with men. We can judge the heart of a man by his treatment of animals.”
~ Immanuel Kant
